The simple pleasures in life are often forgotten amongst the chaos of modern life. I have spent my whole life watching my parents embrace these pleasures intertwined with the importance of hard work and responsibility. My potentially unethical and carnivorous approach to meat was certainly one of these pleasures inherited.

With countless weekends spent with family and friends centred around an unholy, alpha male approach to the size of our BBQ, I can’t help but feel love for the beauty, texture, smell, colour and form of these delicious chunks of flesh.

Whilst I realise that it is fairly excessive and unnecessary to print an A0 poster revealing an arrangement of dead farmyard animals, in a style that at best could be considered ‘glorified clip art’, all I seek is the simple smile it gives me.
